Safirah Stewart MS,MBS,PA-C is a certified physician assistant who has worked in the fields of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Behavioral Health, Urgent Care, and as a Hospitalist at Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Hamilton.

She is known for putting the patient first and creating an environment for a healthy, non-judgemental patient-centered dialogue, working as a team with the patient and other providers and specialists for continuity of care. Additionally, she continues to work as a preceptor and mentor to many current and future medical students.

Safirah Stewart attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey earning a Masters degree in Biomedical Science and Physician Assistant Studies. She had three publications in biomedical science during that time. Stewart graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson and Howard University with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry.

She is also trained in the latest Student Athlete Cardiac Assessment Professional Module, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified and is a member of the New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants.
