Meet Dr. Shaffer
Family Physician in Princeton, NJ
Brian Shaffer, MD, FACP is a board certified internist, with over 20 years of experience in private practice. He was one of the first 360 people in the United States to obtain a certification in non-surgical muscular skeletal sports injuries.
He spent the first part of his career between caring for sick hospitalized medical patients with diabetes, hypertension, respiratory, and cardiac issues alongside his outpatient family care practice. He has a strong background in treating muscular skeletal sports injuries and has cared for the local professional sports teams in the Trenton area as well patients from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
His primary care medical practice is located at 601 Ewing Street Building C, Suite C3 in Princeton, NJ and has hospital consulting privileges at Robert Wood Johnson hospital Barnabas.
Dr. Shaffer swims in Princeton with the Jersey Area Masters and is an avid cyclist and skier.
